EXAMPLE 14. THE LARGEST SATELLITES – THEIR MOVEMENTS SYNCHRONIZED WITH EARTH’S ROTATION.

There are Five Outer Solar System Planets:- Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. The LARGEST Satellite of each one of these planets has its movements synchronized with Earth’s rotation.

(A). During the orbital period of Saturn’s LARGEST Satellite (Titan), Earth rotates (sidereally – ie:- in relation to the fixed stars) 15 rotations + a residual angle of 356.1 degrees.

(B). During the orbital period of Uranus’ LARGEST Satellite (Titania), Earth rotates (sidereally – ie:- in relation to the fixed stars) 8 rotations + a residual angle of 262.7 degrees.

(C). During the orbital period of Neptune’s LARGEST Satellite (Triton), Earth rotates (in relation to The Sun) 5 rotations + a residual angle of 315.66 degrees.

(D). During the orbital period of Pluto’s LARGEST Satellite (Charon), Earth rotates (in relation to The Sun) 6 rotations + a residual angle of 139.4 degrees.

Jupiter’s Largest Satellite (Ganymede) “fails” The Octant Rule.

Sample calculations. (A). 15.94542068 ÷ 0.9972697 = 15.9891 rotations of Earth in relation to The Sun, ie:- 15 rotations + (0.9891 x 360) = 356.1 degrees. That is 15 rotations + a residual angle of 356.1 degrees.

(C). 5.8768441 Earth days. (0.8768441 x 360) = 315.66 degrees. That is 5 rotations of Earth in relation to The Sun + a residual angle of 315.66 degrees. .

When you depict each of these four residual angles as a (single line) radius, the four radiuses look like this:-

The material on this web site is also available in the book Astronomy - The Dishonest Science, by Roger Elliott (available on Amazon).

Once again, it is glaringly, blindingly obvious that these residual angles are NOT randomly distributed, as they absolutely SHOULD be if Newtonian Physics alone governed the movements of celestial bodies. (The gravitational field of Earth is insufficiently strong to alter or affect the rotation periods of distant satellites.) Once again, these residual angles all (mysteriously) “hug” the octants. “Something else” (other than Newtonian Physics) is influencing and dictating the movements of these satellites.

Here are the orbital periods (expressed in Earth days) of the satellites mentioned above:- Saturn’s LARGEST Satellite – Titan (15.94542068), and Uranus’ LARGEST Satellite – Titania (8.7058703), and Neptune’s LARGEST Satellite – Triton (5.8768441), and Pluto’s LARGEST Satellite – Charon (6.387230).

Earth’s sidereal rotation period (ie:- rotation in relation to the fixed stars) = 0.9972697 Earth days.

To verify numerical data, go to Appendix 2. Section 3 for Earth sidereal rotation. Section 12 for all large satellites (and for largest Pluto satellite Section 4) (Note:- Numerical data verification is only available in the book.)
